Al is the president of ACT Jams Productions which is “Keeping Great Music Alive!”

He is the Organizer and Event Chair for the Brass City Jazz Fest (the first ever!) in Waterbury, Connecitcut.
Al’s “The Groove” show is currently syndicated on CD101.9 Smooth Jazz New York and
102.5 FM WJTI Milwaukee, SmoothJazzMilwaukee.com, SmoothJazzFlorida.com and SmoothJazzDC.com
 
He is also the Assistance Producer for CD101 .9  New York. 
He is one of the producers of the Berks Jazz Fest Show – Chris Big Dog Davis and Friends (2019) and CELEBRATING THE MUSIC OF STEVIE WONDER AT 70! (2021)
Al has spun great music at the Berks Jazz Fest since 2015 at the Double Tree Cheers Lounge.
 

Alan organized and promoted parties a year with each party filling the venues with over 150 people through word-of-mouth. Alan also started implementing the “party with a purpose” philosophy by having 50/50 raffles at the parties-50 percent to a non-profit organization and 50 percent to the winner.

Alan is also diverse with his music genre; he was requested to deejay a Jewish birthday party
and was a success.

Alan was also recognized for his talents by 94.3 WYBC and was selected for the training
program, and became part of the WYBC family in 2010. Alan had his own one hour show titled,

Host and Programmer for Smooth Jazz Sundays and WYBC

Smooth Jazz and R&B, which was on the 1340 AM WYBC and WYBCX.com, both of Yale
Broadcasting Company.

Alan’s number one supporter and business manager is his wife, Helen Taylor.
